Russ holds a BS/MS in Computer Science from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Russ is a frequent speaker and recognized expert on the topic of startup fundraising globally.

Brittany Laughlin is currently Executive Director of Stacks Foundation and previously Head of Strategic Partnerships at Blockstack and a Partner at Lattice Ventures. At Lattice Ventures she provides launch capital and connections to entrepreneurs serving industries underserved in innovation. Prior she served as General Manager at Union Square Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm with $1B+ under management. Some portfolio companies include Etsy, Twitter, SoundCloud, Tumblr, Lending Club, and Kickstarter. Her entrepreneurial endeavors include founding VetsinTech NYC, transitioning military veterans into technology jobs, and founded gtrot, a social travel recommendation engine sold to Groupon. Laurent Marochini is Head of Innovation at Societe Generale Securities Services in Luxembourg. Since 2018, Laurent is also Blockchain Leader for the Group.

Prior to joining SGSS, Laurent has held various management positions in the banking sector in particular in BNP Paribas Securities Services and Credit Suisse Private Banking. He joined Societe Generale in 2006 as a Risk Manager.

Laurent is highly involved in the Fintech ecosystem. He is also Co-Chairman of the ALFI (Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds d’investissement) Working Group Blockchain & Crypto Currencies and Member of the Fintech & Digital Executive Committee.

Jacqueline Molnar is Chief Transformation Officer and Global Head of Compliance for Western Union.

She is based in our global headquarters in Denver, Colorado. In Molnar’s twenty years of experience as an attorney and compliance officer, she has focused her practice on AML/CTF, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery/Corruption, Consumer Protection, Fraud and Litigation Defense. She has led large international teams in the successful development of global AML programs across multiple jurisdictions and has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies in complex legal and regulatory matters around the globe.

Molnar also serves as Board Chair of the Western Union Foundation, an organization that supports education and disaster relief efforts as pathways toward a better future. Since its inception in 2001, the
Foundation has funded more than $120 million in 137 countries, benefiting 940,000 people.

Before joining Western Union in 2013 as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, she served as Vice President, Associate Global Anti-Money Laundering Officer at Toronto Dominion Bank
Group in Toronto, Canada. Prior to joining TD, Molnar was Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Wells Fargo & Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also practiced law at Gibson Dunn and at
Latham & Watkins LLP in California, and at Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney, Australia.

Molnar received her Doctor of Jurisprudence and her Bachelor of Education from the University of Hawaii and teaches AML Compliance Law at the William S. Richardson School of Law in Honolulu.
Molnar clerked for The Honorable Hiram Fong at the Federal District Court for the District of Hawaii and for The Honorable Chief Justice Ronald T.Y. Moon, Hawaii State Supreme Court. She is licensed to
practice law in Hawaii and California.

Mr d'Haussy has 15 years of experience in Hong Kong private sector and holds SFC licenses 1 & 4. In 2018, Charles was elected TOP 50 & 200 Fintech influencer in Hong Kong and Asia. Charles is also the author of the book "Block Kong, 21 brilliant Hong Kong blockchain entrepreneurs".

Prof. Michael Sung is a technology venture builder and investor, having founded various companies over the years in diverse high-tech industries ranging from AI, blockchain, semiconductor, and new materials industries. 

He is founder and Chairman of CarbonBlue Innovations, a cross-border tech-transfer platform that is focused on rapidly commercializing and scaling internationally-sourced blockchain, Fintech, and digital finance innovation to developing countries. 

Prof. Michael Sung is also the founding co-director of the Fintech Research Center at the Fanhai International School of Finance at Fudan University. His applied research includes Fintech policy, cryptoeconomics, asset-backed securitization, as well as finance and business model innovation associated with cryptotoken economies. In addition, Prof. Sung is focused on developing finance innovation policy as faculty at the Chinese Institute of Economics and Finance, a national-level think tank for central government. 

Prof. Sung received his Ph.D. in EECS at the MIT Media Lab/Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory as well as a graduate financial engineering degree from MIT Sloan Business School.

Mr. Lee received an MBA from UCLA Anderson in California, USA, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan.

Gary Loh is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of DiMuto Pte Ltd, a trade technology firm providing end-to-end supply chain visibility for global businesses, ensuring traceability and trackability of business documents, goods and services. Since late 2018, DiMuto has successfully tracked and traced over millions of pieces in produce and millions in dollars of trade value on their platform.

Mr Loh is the Vice Chairman of SunMoon Food Company Limited. He joined the company’s Board as Non-Independent Director and Deputy Chairman in 2007 and was Chairman of the Executive Committee from 2007 to 2013, before serving as Executive Chairman of the Board until 2017.
Mr Loh is also the Executive Chairman of First Alverstone Capital Ltd, a private equity firm he co-founded in 2005.

He started his career as a venture capitalist for Pacific Capital Pte. Ltd. from 1992 to 1995, before joining Merrill Lynch 1995 to 1997. Subsequently, he was with UOB Kay Hian and BNP Paribas.

Raullen Chai received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2012, where his research focused on cryptography, specifically in designing and analyzing of lightweight ciphers and authentication protocols for IoT devices.

He is a member of the Centre for Applied Cryptographic Research (CACR), International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), and IEEE Communications Society since 2010. In 2013, he joined Google as senior software engineer leading many security initiatives for its technical infrastructure, including mitigation of SSL attacks against Google such as CRIME/BEAST/POODLE, privacy-preserving SSL offloading, enabling of Certificate Transparency for all Google services.

He was also the founding engineer of Google Cloud Load Balancer
(GCLB), which now serves thousands of cloud services with 1+ million
queries per second. In 2016, he joined Uber as the head of cryptography R&D, leading the research and development of credential storage system, authentication system, risk management and inhouse cryptographic tools. In 2017, he found IoTeX to focus on the building of auto-scalable and privacy-centric blockchain infrastructure that is designed and optimized for Internet-of-Things (IoT).

Prof. Michael Sung is also the founding co-director of the Fintech Research Center at the Fanhai International School of Finance at Fudan University. His applied research includes Fintech policy, cryptoeconomics, asset-backed securitization, as well as finance and business model innovation associated with cryptotoken economies. Daniel (Dan) is the founder of Singapore based Lightbulb Capital. Dan is appointed affiliate faculty of Singapore Management University. Dan is also a lecturer at Rotterdam School of Management's Executive Education arm in Erasmus University. Previously, he was a visiting professor at IE business school in its top-ranked Master in Finance program, where he received the teaching excellence award for his fintech business models class. Dan teaches courses on 1) fintech & innovation in finance as well as on 2) blockchain, cryptocurrencies and digital assets. More recently, he started working and publishing on 3) data science and AI in financial markets. In 2019 he received the best paper award in his category for the paper on ICO scams (co-authored with P. Schueffel) from the editorial board of the Journal of the British Blockchain Association (JBBA). Before starting the firm, Dan was Chief Operating Officer (COO), board member and an Executive Director of HSBC Securities (Singapore) Pte Limited, a MAS capital markets services license holder for dealing in financial products. He was previously also the IT Head of HSBC's investment bank in Singapore and Japan. Dan has over 20 years of investment banking technology experience at UBS in both Germany and the UK, Barclays Capital in both Singapore and Tokyo, as well as Close Brothers in Frankfurt, his hometown.

Dr. Mihaela Ulieru is a technology alchemist and is an innovator at the edge of the impossible. She is founder and President of the IMPACT Institute for the Digital Economy (IMPACT stands for ” Innovation Management and Policy Accelerated with Communication Technologies”), which she founded as a consulting arm of her work aiming at policy reforms for the adoption of the latest digital technologies in all areas of society and sectors of the economy. Since her early career, she kept inspiring and supporting young entrepreneurs – one of her first MSc students was Garret Camp, co-founder of Uber and StumbleUpon – and she currently advises several startups aiming to put the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” technologies (AI, Blockchain, IoT) to work to make the world a better place.

Dr. Ulieru is a Blockchain champion at the World Economic Forum where she advocated to list it in the 2016 Top 10 Emerging Technologies, developed in collaboration with Scientific American. Dr. Ulieru’s research in distributed intelligent systems created a strong foundation for governance on Blockchain as an institutional technology and for its role in revolutionizing manufacturing, logistics and homeland security. She has authored over 200 scientific articles, works on several Boards and Councils and still has time to write poetry. 

Dr. Ulieru has been awarded two research chairs in intelligent systems and has held numerous board appointments including the Science Councils of Singapore, Canada and European Commission and to the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum. She is a Global Leader with the Aspen Institute. She has been involved with major multi-stakeholder programs leading the scaling-up of operations through strategic partnerships and networks in Industrial Informatics, the Future of Medicine, Self-Organizing Security, the EnergyWeb, Global Manufacturing Systems, and Sustainable Personal Living Technologies.

Gurvinder Ahluwalia is the Founder & CEO of Digital Twin Labs based in the US. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer at IBM for Blockchain, Cloud, and IoT for North America and alumnus of the IBM Academy of Technology.
