Banafsheh “B” Fathieh is a Principal Investor and Investment Lead at Prosus Ventures (formerly Naspers Ventures) focused on global early stage consumer technology and blockchain. Prior to Prosus/Naspers, B was part of the founding team and a Vice President of OCV Partners, a $280M Los Angeles-based venture growth fund. Prior to joining OCV, B served as head of Business Development and Finance at OTOY Inc., a cloud graphics technology startup backed by Yuri Milner’s DST Global and Autodesk, where she was responsible for strategy, financings and corporate development. B has served in various operating, investment management, investment banking and advisory roles in her career and brings a decade of experience around startups and venture capital. She graduated from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Economics.
