Rosanne Hooper is an Associate in Baker McKenzie’s Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement team in London. Rosanne advises both traditional financial institutions and FinTechs on licensing requirements, compliance with EU and UK regulatory obligations and the launching of new products, including cryptocurrencies. Rosanne’s practice covers both contentious and non-contentious issues, including advising clients on internal and external investigations, regulatory engagement, compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements, and systems and controls breaches. Rosanne was recently seconded to a major international financial institution, where she advised on a number of cross-border regulatory issues involving the provision of payment services, AML/CTF requirements, and dealt with regulators across the EU.
