Tekin Salimi is a general partner at Polychain Capital, where he focuses on research and early-stage venture investments in emergent cryptocurrency protocols and companies. Following the investment, Tekin works closely with portfolio founders on growth strategy, business development, go-to-market, communications and other verticals. Tekin also serves as an advisor and board observer to the Blockchain Association, the preeminent lobbyist group advocating the policy interests of the blockchain industry within the U.S. Prior to joining Polychain, Tekin was a lawyer at Torys LLP where his practice focused on public and private M&A, securities and debt financing. He holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada.
